Michael A. Delaney, D.V.M
Dr. Delaney is a 2003 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. He attended Valdosta State University for his undergraduate studies, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He is a 1993 graduate of Lowndes High School.
Upon graduation from UGA, Dr. Delaney began working at Azalea City Animal Hospital with the late Dr. Jesse “Buck” Davis. He made ACAH his official home in 2005.
Dr. Delaney is married to Heather Delaney and together they have 2 boys, Liam and Davis. They enjoy homestead life complete with their garden, chickens, guineas, geese, rescue kitty cats, and pups (Claire and Douglas).

Kayla Lee, D.V.M.
Dr. Kayla joined our team in September of 2020. She graduated from the University Of Georgia College Of Veterinary Medicine in May 2020. She has had a love for animals from a young age and has a desire to enhance the quality of life of all her patients. Dr. Kayla attended Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee prior to attending veterinary school. She is originally from the small town of Alma, Georgia and is excited to be back in southern Georgia practicing veterinary medicine.
She and her husband Thorn Lee have two beautiful children; a rambunctious little boy Max and sassy little girl Rowan. They also have a Siberian husky named Shadow and a tortoise named Flash. She enjoys snuggling on the couch with her children (and husky), spending time with family, and reading. She also enjoys baking for her family and staff!
